Yellow jelly polishes are so strange looking but I love them anyway! This is 3 easily applied coats of Revlon Banana Blaze. It's a sunshine yellow jelly with sparse silver glitter. I know it doesn't look great with my skin tone but Banana Blaze is still a keeper since it's so unique! I'll have to try layering it over some other colors some day.

Zoya Kitridge
Zoya Kitridge is from their Tickled Summer 2014 collection.
I hated pink polish when I started blogging almost 5 years ago, but now I have a healthy appreciation for a great pink polish like Zoya Kitridge. Zoya accurately describes Kitridge as "a classic summer bubblegum pink cream." Shown here at 2 easily applied coats, Zoya Kitridge is a definite keeper!

Quick Look At Zoya Summer 201 Magical Pixie Dusts
Just a couple of quick shots of Zoya's latest offering, Magical Pixie Dust Summer 2014.
Arlo, Bar & Ginni (left to right) applied like a dream and dried super fast. I used three coats here but I think two would work for Bar & Ginni; Arlo looks better with three. These have a much improved formula compared to the first Magical Pixie Dust set featuring Lux, Vega, & Cosmo. If you love Zoya Tomoko, you're going to want Zoya Bar as well. I'm pretty sure I'm going to love them all!
Just some quick first impressions, I'll have more photos & thoughts in future posts.

Zoya Ling
Zoya Ling is from their Tickled Summer 2014 collection.
Zoya Ling is "a vibrant royal blue cream that is evenly balanced to flatter most skin tones" according to Zoya & that's a great description. I love blue polishes & Ling is no exception. I'll do a comparison post with Zoya Breezi sometime in the near future, but I'm keeping both! Ling is opaque in two coats. Sorry for the messy bottle! I was watching Game of Thrones instead of looking at the bottle while painting my nails...

Frame Nail Art With Zoya
Sometimes I try several options for nail art on my practice wheels & nothing works out. When I can't figure out what to do next I ask my boyfriend Will. Occasionally he has some great ideas that I would never choose on my own & sometimes the results are kind of blah. This one falls into the latter category. I started with a base of the lovely Zoya Binx & then added a border or frame around my entire nail in Zoya Belinda.
Maybe the contrast is too stark or I just don't like this style of nail art. I do think it looks cool from afar though!

Elizabeth Arden Spring Gradient
Gradient manicures are my favorite go to nail art without a doubt. Almost impossible to mess up & so easy to accomplish. Here I started with a base of Elizabeth Arden Ahoy & then used a slightly damp makeup sponge to add Elizabeth Arden Seaview Crimson to the tips. Perfect for spring & it matches my shirt!

Jamberry Kaleidoscope Nail Wraps - Review & Giveaway!
I usually have a bit of difficulty with nail wraps & strips simply because I am 6' tall with longish nails so my nails are definitely on the large end what would be considered average and therefore included in sizing for products like these. These Jamberry Kaleidoscope wraps were no exception but I was able to make them work with a full sheet. I absolutely love the fantastic multi color design that is something I could never accomplish on my own!
Application was typical of other nail wraps & the Jamberry sets come with clear instructions. I always find that the first few nails are a bit fiddly (you can see some imperfections in my pinky & ring finger if you look closely) but I'm flying through the application by the second hand. My favorite part of any nail wraps is how quickly I can get out the door after applying. No chance of wrecking my manicure because I didn't quite wait long enough to resume normal activity!
I didn't test wear time since I'm always changing my polish but I'm betting these would be a great option for vacation or simply when you're in a rush but you still have to have fabulous nails. I'd love to pick up a few more sets to have on hand in case of emergency.
Now the fun part for my readers! One lucky participants will win Jamberry Orchid Bouquet and a mini application kit (glass file, rubber cuticle pusher and alcohol wipe all in a cute little bag)!

Zoya Binx
Zoya Binx is from their Summer 2014 Bubbly collection.

I used 2 coats here & tried a third on on nail to see if I could get closer to the color seen in promo pics. I couldn't tell a difference so I just left it at two coats. Still a beautiful polish with an easy to work with formula.

Revlon Cherry Fizz
My friend Casey kindly gave me one of her cherished bottles of Revlon Cherry Fizz recently & I love it! Cherry Fizz is a dark hot pink jelly with sparse hot pink shimmer that's even prettier in person. It's got a great formula shown here at 5 coats. Perfect for spring & summer, thanks Casey!

Color Club Gold Struck
I won a BirchBox subscription last year & that's how I picked up a mini Color Club Gold Struck, a Birchbox exclusive. I didn't like this one the first night I applied it, but it grew on me over the next few days. I got several compliments and decided that the palest of gold shade actually worked well with my skin tone.
The formula is good but like all chrome metallics, you have to be careful about your brushstrokes. So eye-catching that I may have to pick up a full sized bottle!

Zoya Sailor & Zoya Monet
I couldn't wait to try Zoya Monet over a dark shade after it became my unexpected favorite from Zoya recent Awaken collection. I chose Zoya Sailor & topped it with a layer of Monet. Sadly the formula is still too thick even after adding a few more drops of polish thinner so I had some bubbles. I'm still not going to give up on Monet though; the pastel cellophane glitter is just so gorgeous!

I saw these super simple but fun nails a few years ago & have kept them in my Nail Art Pinterest Board ever since. Christina Rinaldi of Prima Creative has dozens of ideas I'd love to try in the future!
I used Zoya Cole then added lines of Zoya Beatrix for my version. Easy, fresh, & ready for spring!

Zoya Dot & Zoya Monet
Zoya Monet is from their Awaken collection for Spring 2014.
I was sure that I wouldn't like Zoya Monet but I was wrong! It's perfectly described by Zoya as "a multi-colored, cellophane holographic special effect topper." I've never been a big fan of glitter toppers but Monet is awfully pretty. I especially love the way it reflects sparkling pastel twinkles on anything in it's vicinity!
The formula is a bit problematic, very thick & a bit gloopy even after the addition of polish thinner. I've decided the lovely fairy lights effect is worth a bit of extra effort though. (You can see what I mean in the second & last pictures below.) It's shown here over Zoya Dot.
